Bug - Automatic Renumbering of Slides

Mar 10, 2013

Hello.  Sorry, I forget where the bug report place is.  I tried to do a search and could not find it.  It would be nice to have a button right in the forums to direct you to the form for quick access.  Maybe it is there and I don't see the link? :0)

Anyway, here is the situation.  I have a branching activity in a scene.  I have many branches and variables set.  So I decided to use the numbering on the slides (slide number) as a reference so I could track which slide to go to.  I set a variable as the name of the number of the slide.  As I was working through the exercise I was going crazy as my slide numbers automatically renumbered, so  I lost the number reference that I was using that was matched to my variable.

I thought that once I was done adding slides, that the numbering of the slides would quit renumbering, and I would be ok to reset all my variable names to the new slide numbering.  That was not the case.  For some reason the automatic numbering on the slides keep renumbering.  Very frustrating.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Thank you.
