When I am overwriting audio for my slides, I am constantly hassled with the 'are you sure you want to overwrite the current audio' confirmation even though I tick the 'do not ask again' box. This happens on each slide, every time.
Hi Rich, How are you going about this? Are you selecting the file on the timeline and then inserting a file? Are you recording from the mic? I'm not able to bring up an overwrite warning by doing any of these, so that's why I'm curious at this point!
Hi Richard -- As Richard Karel stated, it would be helpful if you could provide more details on the steps you are taking when you are receiving this error. Also, you may want to run through the following troubleshooting steps to rule out the causes of some common errors:
Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. Also, could you please ensure that you are utilizing the most recent SL2 Update? Info on the latest update can be found here.
If issues persist, you are welcome to share your file so we can take a closer look for you. Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left corner of the reply box in the thread, and you can browse for the file from there. Please also note that if you reply via email, your attachment will not appear here in the thread.
