I want to build a simple interaction where the user wll select/check items from a list and based on the items checked I want to attribute a concept/profile to this user.
I've already created a numeric variable and I've set a value for the checked items. The problem is I can't generate a result slide the that sums the checked item values.
The idea is to have 3 concepts based on the values:
1 to 10 = Concept A
11 to 20 = Concept B......
If someone can give me some help I would be grateful.
Are you looking to display the final value total on the results slide or the concept that is assigned to that number?
It sounds a bit like you're creating something similar to this magazine style assessment described by community Super Hero Rebecca. If I'm missing the mark on what you're looking to set up, could you share a sample .story file here with us so that we could see what you already have started?
After digging deep on the forum posts, I've found what I needed. It's a very creative and clever way to use the free form quiz tool. I recommend everybody take a look at this thread: http://community.articulate.com/forums/t/24857.aspx , posted by Rebeca Cordeiro. Simple and genius.

Hi Ashley,
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I´ve just saw the 'magazine style assessment" and it seems to be a possible solution for my project.
I'll develop a demo to see if it works and I'll share the results here in the forum.
Thanks again.
Rgds

Awesome Marcelo - we always love new samples.
Ashley,
Unfortunately it didn't work for my project.
I would need the option "Score by Choice" on the "Pick Many Free Form" to make it work.
To accomplish my objective I need to sum the "checks" in order to associate a feed-back. Is there a way to do that?
Thank you.
Marcelo
