Button state error

Has anyone experienced this? I have created a button with 4 states. The base of the button is an image I created in PhotoShop. I have 4 states to the button. Normal, Hover, Down and Visited. The hover state has the button move to the right 20 pixels. When I publish my file the button shows ghosting when I roll over it. Basically, it doesn't remove the normal state so it has the hover state directly on top of the normal state. It totally messes up my text on my button. I have included a short video to demonstrate what i'm getting. You'll see I have it occur on all of my buttons so it's not an isolated issue.
I'm running the SL3 latest build.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Graham

Button states are all built on top of Normal this is annoying but is expected behaviour for Storyline states
There are a couple of work arounds.
Select the image and text in Hover and bring to front (sometimes works)
Not sure if the green has a gradient, but if it doesn't set the background colour colour of your text in hover to the green of the button.
Thanks Phil. I'll try bringing the image and text to the front. I need to keep my text in place so changing the color wont work for this project. I'll let you know how i make out.
Graham.
I may have confused you I meant changing the background colour of the text in the hover state to hopefully mask out the normal state text.

I just experienced this too. My colleague and I just figured out how to address it. We didn't duplicate the states, we deleted the content of the hover state and recreated it in the place we wanted it. It worked beautifully!
Hi Graham,
Try deleting the contents of the state you want to shift and recreate it the way you want it to be. (Don't duplicate the normal state and just shift it, really recreate it). I was having the same issue as you are, my colleague and I tried this and it worked!
