How do I call a SCORM Function from within Storyline 2?

The call will look like this:

LMsGETVALUE ()    and

LMsSETVALUE ()

Hi Bill,

Often if you want to call specific functions you'll want to look at doing so with the Javascript that you can add to Storyline which is something that the community could assist with, as it's not something that I can offer support for. You may want to begin by reviewing the information here in terms of Javascript best practices.

You'll also want to ensure you're publishing for the SCORM Version that you're LMS is using and needs to work with.

Ashley,

I have been using computers since before the internet. We had dial up modems connected to bulletin boards. And even before that in the 1960's we had an IBM that used vacuum tubes that were as tall as I am. No such thing as a hard drive. I struggle to keep up with it all. I am an E-Mail user but do know much about it. What part of my E-Mail message is considered a signature, and why should I consider deleting it? I am not illiterate, but I am not able to know everything although I try.

Best Regards,

Bill

Hey Bill,

The signature would be the bottom where you're name, title, and phone number in the earlier instance of your response. If you use the Reply function within our notification emails it acts like a standard email reply which depending on your normal email set up appends your signature to it. You can edit the post to remove that information if you'd like -and the only reason I can think of would be if you didn't want other users in the public forum to have access to it.

Just visit this forum page (use the "View" button in the email notification) and below any of your responses you'll see an "edit" feature - click that and you'll be able to edit was was previously written and delete things like your signature.

Hope that helps!
