Calling Australian Storyline Users - Feature Request for WCAG accessibility
Feb 07, 2015
Hi guys
Referring to
http://webguide.gov.au/accessibility-usability/accessibility/
as at 31/12/2014 all Australian Government departments are required to meet the WCAG 2.0 AA standard for accessibility.
Join me in a submitting a feature request to Articulate to get this sorted for us.
Just copy/paste the text below into the feature request and add your own comments as you'd like...
The Australian Government has mandated as a requirement by 31 Dec 2014 WCAG conformance level 2. 0AA
Refer webguide.gov.au/accessibility-usability/accessibility/
As there are a lot of Australian companies and freelance developers using Storyline can you give an indication when this requirement might be met.
At the moment every tender has to be painstakingly broken down with an 'alternative' of how the usability requirement will be met.

Thanks Wendy for sharing here and encouraging others to join you in this!
Requirements are the same for the Canadian Government - WCAG 2.0 AA compliance for all public facing websites.
If Storyline could publish a WCAG 2.0 AA compliant version, this would be fantastic!
Hi Franky,
With the release of Update 5, Storyline 2's Flash output is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, including support for customizing the tab order of slide objects.
See this article for details on how to author content that's WCAG compliant.
Glad we could help Matthew. :-)
I have been working on this and have created a Linkedin Group.
It is still in it's early stages, but does provide some useful information.
All the best,
Kevin Brake
