Can I allow users to create a folder of resources to access later?

Oct 17, 2014

Good morning!

I'm looking for a way to do two things:

1).  Ask users to drag and drop a few off their favorite websites onto a bookshelf (websites are images).  Then, later in the course, I'd like to be able to pull up and display their bookshelf with the items they dropped onto it).  If I do a quiz slide, the only thing I can think of is to insert a results slide later when I want to reference their bookshelf. But all that will do is give them a button to "review results". Is there another way to do this?

2).  I want to have students find 5 other websites and copy and paste the links into a "resources folder" to reference later in the course.  I'm assuming that a text variable is best for this but just looking to see if there is any other way to do it.

Basically, these two activities are asking users to find several resources that they can use for the post-assessment at the end of the course.  So I need a way that I can pull up what they have selected.

Any ideas?

Hello Carmen! and Welcome to Heroes!

For the first question, one thing you could do is use the "lightbox slide" trigger on the slide later on. As long as the user submits the drag and drop, you can add that slide in later slide as a lightbox. It will show the saved state of the drag and drop. I am not sure if this will work for your needs, but I am sure others will jump in with ideas for both questions as well!
