Can I trigger a lightbox from within a layer?

Mar 18, 2014

I have a quick gate question on a slide that has the following elements:

Base Layer:

  • Heater bar, footer bar, Header text, Next and previous button on the footer.
  • Text with a question and four boxes with text answers taking up the center portion of the slide.
  • I trigger a layer to show up (layer 1). This layer pauses the baselayer timeline and has four invisible buttons laid on top of the four boxes shown in the base layer (I need to pause the base layer because I have more content to show for this slide)

If the user clicks on an incorrect answer, I want a lightbox to show up with some guidance as to why it was incorrect.

If the user clicks on an incorrect answer, I want a lightbox to show up with some additional information.

After the lightbox closes, the layer can time out and then the base layer will resume.

Right now, this is not working and my only options are mutliple slides or layers for a single topic.
