Been having trouble aligning the answers correctly. They look fine in edit mode but as soon as I hit preview all the text is misplaced. Any ideas? I am using Articulate 2.
I took a look at your file, and it seems there was some formatting in the text lines of the answers. Were these copied and pasted from another source? It is possible the format was copied in.
I added a new slide, (1.2) and just typed the text in manually (from 1.1) , and now the text is all lined up. Please see attached.
I see that text is not aligning if I copy and paste the text over, but it works fine if I type in the information. It's a time saver to be able to copy and paste questions without having to retype. Is there a workaround for this?
If you're copying and pasting text it sounds like you may be picking up additional formatting and therefore that could be causing your alignment issues. You could look at copying/pasting it from Notepad or a similar tool that strips out formatting elements to ensure it goes seamlessly into Storyline.
I know this is an older thread, however I have a similar issue where I am using a multiple-multiple choice set of answers and each answer text box is vertically aligning in the Middle. This is great if the answer is only one sentence and does not exceed the boundaries of the text box.
I want to align the choices to vertical-align to Top. I have attempted to align each text box and it does not work. Any suggestions? See attached. The question I am referencing is Question 7
Unfortunately you can't change the alignment of the checkboxes. If you want more customization than the quizzing slide provides, consider creating a slide and converting it to a Freeform - Pick Many. (Insert > Convert to Freeform > Pick Many)
From there, you can insert checkboxes and text boxes to mimic the look and feel of the quiz question, but should have full control of the placement of objects. The only drawback is you will not be able to shuffle the answer choices for this question.

Hello Kevin, and welcome to Heroes!
Would you be able to attach your file so we can look at it? You can use the paperclip icon.
I just tested a file using a multiple choice question, and they all aligned properly in preview mode.
Have you tried publishing this to see if it happens in publish mode too?
An can you confirm that you are working locally as described here.
Hi Emily,
Here is my story file. I haven't tried to have it published yet.
Many thanks,
Kevin

Now I have the questions aligned in edit mode but all messed up when publish / preview :(
Also noticed it is affecting the "incorrect" answers, all correct answers seems to line up correctly.
Hello Kevin!
When you entered the questions this time, did you type them all in manually to make sure that any formats were not copied over?

Thanks, Alyssa! I kind of figured that would be the response. My only concern is the fact that I cannot shuffle. So maybe, I simple leave it as is.
