can't see all ressource files

Jun 13, 2019

I have entered 22 resource files, unfortunately the last 4 or 5 are not displayed in the eLearning and they cannot be selected. Does anyone know a solution?

Hi Simone,

It looks like the resource list is cut off at the edge of your player? I haven't seen that happen before, so it would help to know a bit more about your course.

Can you share the following:

  • Do you know what version of Storyline you're using? You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline".
  • Where are you viewing the course to see this? (i.e. browser/version and LMS, Web, etc.)
  • Does it happen on a particular device (laptop, iPhone, Android tablet, etc.)

Can you share a link to the course or a copy of your .story file for us to take a look at?

Hi Ashley

Thanks for your reply.

  • I have version Storyline 360, v3.27.18822.0
  • I was viewing it on internet explorer 11 and on Microsoft Edge 41.16299.1004.0 (the company browsers)
  • I can't see them on the mobile as well on the pc.
  • On the preview > mobile: I can see all files... (see attachment)

I would like to send the file to you but I am not allowed to do it publicly. Is there an other way to send the file to you?

Regards,
Simone

Hi Simone,

Absolutely - you can always share privately with our Support Team using this link to upload. They can even sign an NDA if you need.

I'd also suggest installing the latest update, we're now on Storyline 360, build 3.29.19305.0, to check if that resolves the issue.

Let me know if you can share the file with our team and I'll follow along!

Hi Simone,

Thanks for checking that and sharing the files privately with our team. I saw them come in and also gave it a quick test and noticed that the story size was set quite small, which I think is impacting the issue you're seeing with the resources tab. I tested it in Chrome and saw the same behavior you're describing, but the course did work in the mobile Preview and once accessed on my iPhone in Safari.

What mobile device and browsers did you run into trouble with?

I've shared the case files with our Support team so that they can work with you on further troubleshooting, so they'll be in touch as soon as they can!
