I have a course that gives visual indicator (checkmark) after a user completes a module in that course. But let's say I made some changes to the course, re-published it as SCORM and then uploaded it again to my LMS - would all the visual indicators that had been there before be lost?
My guess is that this would be the case, however I haven't had a chance to test it.
I'm wondering if there's any way to work around this?
Any settings in terms of resuming the saved state of a slide or the course as a whole will likely be lost. Depending on your LMS the data in terms of the users answers or how far they are in a course may be saved if you republish with the exact same title and all the settings the same. You may want to test it out and load up a sample course to a site such as SCORM Cloud, which is an industry standard for testing LMS content to see how it behaves t here.
