Change account linked to my Storyline Software

Jul 14, 2023

Hello,

I have two Articulate accounts--one for my 9-5 job and one for some freelance work I do.

The Storyline software installed on my desktop publishes Review360 files to my work Review platform.

But in order to put Storyline blocks in my freelance Rise courses, I need them in my freelance Review platform.

How can I toggle my Storyline software between the two accounts?

Thank you!

Hi Alexandra,

Great question! I understand you’d like to publish a Storyline file that was created with your work account to the Review 360 associated with your freelance account. I’d be happy to work with you to get this done!

Since each Articulate account is associated with one Articulate ID, you will need to sign out of your work account and sign into your personal account. Here are the steps:

  1. Log out of your work account in the Desktop app and browser windows by clicking on the account button in each and clicking Sign Out. Here’s a screenshot of each button.Articulate 360 Desktop AppArticulate 360 Dashboard
  2. Log into your personal/freelance account in the Desktop app. After logging in, it will redirect you to a browser login.
  3. Once successfully logged in to your personal account (Check the Account icon in the top right to confirm!) you can publish your Storyline project to Review 360.

Note: You may have to clear your browser cache in order to log in to your freelance account.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thank you! This worked great!

Follow-up question: My freelance client added me to their company account. When I finish this contract with them, they will remove my email/license from their account. Will those Review slides that are inserted into the Rise courses I made for them stay live?

Asking because the folder in Review says "personal" and I don't want their courses impacted when I am finished with the work.

Hello Alexandra,

Glad my colleague John was able to help you out!

Regarding your follow up questions, if the administrator of your client's subscription chooses to transfer your Review 360 links to another active member of the team, then the Review 360 content will remain active. However, if the administrator decides to let you keep your content, they will remain on our servers for at least six months before they are permanently deleted. You can read all about what will happen to your content here:
