Change button state based on completing a scene
Jul 09, 2015
I am trying to finish a project that has 3 - 100 question assessments. The student must complete each assessment with a score of 98 to pass. I have 3 buttons on the main page and I want to change the state of each button based on passing each assessment. I want to only allow the first button to be active initially and then show that button with a check mark next to it when they pass the first assessment and return to the main screen. I also want to activate the second assessment button at this time. The same thing with button 2 and 3 after completing the second assessment.
I have added a new state to the buttons and set it up to change the state based on a trigger (see attached file) but it is not working. Can somebody help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

It may be easier if you share your .story file here, but for starters: In the screenshot, the trigger does not specify the object/slide when this trigger should be executed when timeline starts.
Thank's for the catch Michael, I changed the Object to the slide and it worked. Now I just need to get the other two working.
I don't know if this helps at all, but a long time ago I did an example with a menu where buttons are sequentially enabled as your complete various sections. Have a look at the attached and see if that provides some ideas.
