I had made a presentation with a specific layout. Now I want to use that layout for all my future work. So when I imported couple of slides from powerpoint and changed the layout to what I wanted. It looked different. The text size changed and instead of one line its now 2 lines. How do I edit this layout and make it look same for all future slides ?

If you get a layout set up, you can save it as a template that you can import into future projects. Here is some information on using templates.
