Changing shape of built in buttons in SL360

Hello, I have a project that has many buttons, created using the built in rectangular button (insert > button dropdown > rectangular button, which is top option). I have had a request from the client to change the current buttons to the rectangular button with rounded corners (second option in button dropdown list), and update colours/fonts etc. I have created an example button as per their directions, and tried to copy across to existing buttons using paste formatting. Unfortunately, it is only copying across the states/colours/font but not updating the button shape. How can I change from the rectangular built in button to the rectangular with rounded corners without redoing all these buttons again individually?

You can change button type in the format drop down for the button formatting tab, you will likely have to reapply the formatting, this needs to be done on a button by button basis
You can even do this on several button if they are in the same slide/layer. You select all the buttons on that slide and do the changes Phil said (Format -> Button style).
I don't think there's a way to do that for buttons in different slides/layers unfortunately.
Thank you for your help, that will speed things up considerably!
