Changing Shape State

Using Storyline I've built a question slide where students are asked to choose either P (primary) or S (secondary) from a list of seven regulating authorities such as "Food Safety Modernization Act statues". I've used oval shapes to create buttons and added a selected state with a check mark for each one. I would like to disable the "S" if "P" is selected and vice versa. I've created a trigger to disable "P" if "S" is selected but if I change my mind and want to then select "P" and deselect "S", "P" remains disabled. It's no longer an option. Is there a way to reinstate "P" to available if I deselect "S".

Hi there Mac,
I'd love to help! Could you share a sample slide so I can get a clear picture of how the buttons should work?
Since this is a public forum, you can create a copy of the slide and remove all private information. Then attach the file to this discussion by clicking here. I'll be standing by!
Hi Mac,
Not sure if this will help at all but just mocked this up and created button sets which will get round the disabling the buttons.
If not, the alternative is having a little reset icon which will allow them to press the button to unlock the options if they change their mind.
Attached is the screen grab of the question slide. Thanks.
Perfect, Mac. Thanks for popping back in to share.
The example that Aaron shared above looks to be exactly what you need for your setup.
If you're not sure how to add those button sets, check out a quick Peek video I made for another customer this morning. Just add yours horizontally instead of vertically :)
I'm just getting back to say thank you very much. All of the feedback was very helpful.
I'm finally getting back to building this part of the project and the buttons were just what I needed. Thanks very much.
Our pleasure, Mac. Glad to hear you found what you needed! 😀
