I'm trying to create a chat simulation and was hoping I can make it look a bit authentic. But once the conversation is long, the animation does not work well since the scroll bar starts at the top.
Good challenge. If you wanted to preserve the scrolling panel so a person could scroll up and down, you could add a motion path to the objects which would move up when the slide changes
I'd probably ditch the scrolling panel and just use motion paths to move the objects up
Thanks, Tom! They need to be able to scroll up and down to view previous message exchanges. In the sample, the exchange is still simple enough. But we do get challenging/complicated scenarios where they need to review previous exchanges and was hoping could get that authentic feel (e.g. how the tool looks, functions, etc).
if you group the objects and use a motion path that is relative you could scroll it up using the mating path and at the end show some arrow so the user can move the group up and down (with another motion path).
