Checking answer before hit submit

I'm creating a lesson where I need to be offer the user the option to check their answers. The current set up is 8 true or false questions on one slide using 'pick many'.
I've created 16 layers that have ticks or crosses depending on which of the options the user has clicked.
My thinking is that the user can hit a check button and the layers are revealed depending on what answers they have picked. However, as far as I can tell the condition of having toggled a radio button or selected a 'pick many' object isn't obvious to find.
Is there a better way to go about this?

Hi Zoe, If i'm not mistaken the state(s) to check is 'Selected'. That's all.
Thanks Jeff - I just watched https://community.articulate.com/articles/how-to-create-custom-navigation-buttons-in-articulate-storyline and am now applying that.
HI Zoe,
I'm glad that'll work for you and if you need anything else please let us know!
