When you installed it, there was an option to change the language. It defaults to Chinese. I would uninstall, reinstall, and then set to US English (if that is what you want). It is easy to miss - I have done that same thing twice now :)
You can also change it from within Storyline as detailed here - but if you don't read Chinese it may be harder to figure out the steps to get to this page. :-)
