Chrome Frame causes issues

May 08, 2015

An issue that I have seen users experience a number of times now is that when they have a plugin called Chrome Frame, it interferes with the e-learning modules created in Storyline 1 communicating with our LMS.

It appears that the plugin interferes with the module and causes the problem, has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there a fix for this?

Thanks!

Hi Karla,

I'm not aware of the Chrome Frame plug in, but if it's forcing your content into an iFrame that may be running into the issues as described here. That's the closest I've seen to an issue with a course in a frame. Have you also looked at testing this at SCORM Cloud, that'll help you determine if there is a particular issue with your LMS and the Frame or the Frame in general. SCORM Cloud is an industry standard for testing LMS content and has options for free accounts.
