Collaborating on Storyline projects

Jan 06, 2022

I have read several articles and discussion threads about this topic already, but I am hoping against hope that the current climate with almost two years of home office has contributed towards some improvements ;)

I am collaborating with a colleague on a Storyline project, and we will need to work intensively at different times of day on the same file. Our company uses Sharepoint 365, One Drive, as well as shared Network folders. I understand that Storyline works best when stored locally, but if we keep the file relatively simple with minimal interactivity programmed in, is there an easier way to do this than emailing a zip file back and forth? (She is able to access my latest file version from OneDrive, but only gets the option to download it - not work on it live).

Hi Maria, Thanks for linking this recommended workflow. Is there an article or guide for the Team Slides function in storyline? We'd like to build our slides solo then share to a library for one of us to build out the routing of the modules since Storyline does not allow multiple users in the same file at one time. Any thoughts on that? thanks!

Hello Kari!

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I'd like to pass along this article that can assist you in using Team Slides in Storyline 360:

Storyline 360: Using Team Slides for Collaboration

I would recommend utilizing Review 360 and publishing your courses there from Storyline. That way, you all can collaborate together in one space and make comments and discuss revisions.

I hope this helps!
