I have a Storyline 360 module which includes 6 screen cast questions and 4 multiple choice questions. (10 question total)
Each screen cast question has a results slide - set to 80%. Worth noting that each 'screen' within each question is set to 10 points for correct response.
There is also a final results slide which includes the score from the 4 multiple choice questions and the other 6 results slides. It is set to 80% pass rate.
Upon review i get 100% despite failing some of the multiple choice questions on purpose.
Thanks for sharing your file! I responded to you in your case, but I'll share here as well to provide insight!
Although you have your cumulative results slide under the question bank with the four multiple-choice questions, it's not grading those questions. You'll have to create a separate result slide for those questions, then add that result slide to slide 1.5 (cumulative results) to take all your questions into account. Hope this helps!
That helps greatly - you can tell I've had a break from storyline development!
I have been cheeky and uploaded a further file, with a further - apparently more complex issue, which I hope you can assist with. Please let me know if you need further information on that one.
Upon testing we are seeing that if all questions are answered correctly then we get 100%, However when one multiple choice question was answered incorrectly we had a score of 97.14%.
Does it reduce points if you hit an incorrect hotspot within a screencast question?
Sorry to hear you're getting strange results with your course! If the hotspot question is graded and recorded with a results slide, then I believe the cumulative score will be affected by this.
You can choose not to record the results of the hotspot questions and leave that section as practice, but you'll have to remove that results slide from the cumulative results so that the score isn't taken into account at the end of your course.
I see you're also working with my teammate, Phil, on this issue and it looks like he is currently testing your file. Keep at it with him and be on the lookout for a response soon with his suggestions!

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out and happy to help! A result slide can track question slides or other result slides, so I'm curious as to how you're able to track both?
Do you have a result slide for the four multiple-choice questions as well that's being included in the final results slide?
If you're able to share your file publicly here, feel free to do so by clicking Add Attachment, otherwise you can share it privately with me here, and I'll delete once I'm done taking a look!
Thank you Ren, I've uploaded it privately to you.
The question bank of multiple choice q's all report to the final result slide - is this where i have gone wrong? ...
