I just tested that in IE11 and everything worked as expected for me and all the images appeared matching the screenshot above from Chrome. Did you check to see what version of Flash player you're using within IE11?
Welcome back from your holiday! I'm sorry you had to come back to find this still not working for you. I tried it again in my IE11 browser with Flash 14, and again it worked as expected for me, and clicked on and played a few videos.
Are you able to try hosting it somewhere else and playing it in IE11 to help narrow down what specifically is causing the issue? You may want to test at a site such as SCORM Cloud, which is a free industry standard for testing SCORM content or you could use one of the web servers mentioned in this article.
Feel free to keep us posted on how it continues to behave.
hello, I am also having issues with IE 11 not opening scorm content that is in Moodole. My courses are built using Storyline360 and Rise and are stored in Moodle. The content opens fine in Chrome but is not working in IE 11. When the scorm content is clicked, it just turns grey and nothing happens.
I would prefer not to have to ask users to download Chrome since they do this at their own time from their own devices.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into.
Do you experience the same behavior when you test the content in SCORM Cloud or is this limited to your LMS?
If so, then with your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Hi Leslie, the scorm content opens fine in Chrome but not in IE which makes me believe it is something to do with the browser and articulate (SCORM) content.
Please find the file attached. I have tried it on the SCORM cloud and it worked fine.
Hmmm I just tested again and it work in IE if I had the direct link to the SCORM content but when trying to open it from the main course menu, the whole thing goes grey and does not work. I think this may be more a Moodle issue than a SCORM issue. I will have our moodle tech people investigate.
Thank you Leslie for getting back to me so quickly.
so my colleague and I figured it out. This feature "Use javascript navigation from Tiles main page" had to be unchecked in Moodle settings for the scorm content to open through the course page. Not sure why it would matter but seems to work now.

Has there been a fix to this?
Thank you

Awesome, Sally.
Glad you were able to track that down and I appreciate you popping in to share the solution with the community.
