Creating A Risk Assessment

Aug 09, 2016

Hi Guys,

I am creating an online risk assessment for lone workers in our business - What I want Storyline 2 to do is to give a 'Low', 'Medium', 'High' or 'Very High' results page based on a score from 10 questions.

I'm sure it is a very simple thing that I am over-thinking and over-looking, but any advice would be great!

Thanks!

Kylie

Hey there, Kylie!  Neat idea.

You could probably accomplish this with graded answer choices.  Each question's response can have its own point value.  On your "results slide,"  you can then reference the total points with the Results.ScorePoints variable.  Then you could have different text boxes or layers show based on the total points, or even a range of points:  use conditions on your triggers for this!

Hope that helps out!  Let us know what you come up with.  :)

Hi, Ali -- Thanks so much for reaching out here! Do you happen to have a file started that you might be able to share so that others in the community are able to offer design suggestions based on your current set up?

Also, I'm not sure what you have in mind as far a a notebook theme, but I thought you might want to take a look at some of the following for inspiration:

Hope that helps, and our Building Better Courses forum is a great place to pose design-related questions, as well!
