Custom feedback

Hello,

I am rewriting a Flash course.  There are several quiz questions where the learner is presented the image of an insurance form.  They are asked to identify a certain bit of information by clicking on a part of the form i.e. ‘Click on the Type of Business on the example form.’  After clicking, the correct field is highlighted and a sentence or two of verbiage is provided.

I feel I have the questioning handled but am struggling with the feedback.  I first started by converting the slide to a freeform question.  But I didn’t like the standard feedback because it covered up the form.  So, I started looking into customizing feedback masters, but am wondering the merit of that.  If there are five questions, covering five different forms, it seems like there’s nothing to be gained by putting the feedback in a master.  Shouldn’t I just create my own slide with layers for feedback?  I don’t plan on using a results slide or 'grading' the quiz, but I guess it would be easy enough to set up a variable to calculate something if they answer correctly.

I don’t have a lot of experience with master slides, specifically feedback masters, but don’t see how they could be a solution for me in this case.  Does anyone else see a different way to handle this?  Best regards, Judy Peterson
