Custom Table of Contents

Hi All,

I are trying to build a course with a custom skin by disabling the default SL player. We have been able add our own custom back-next controls, glossary, resources and so on.

However, the problem areas are - Menu and Topic titles/Page(Screen) titles - as there are no variables for Page number, topic title or screen title, there is no way of updating theses fields.

I had thought of using a custom flash file to read the table of contents from the XML files that are generated - which is very much easy with little work on actionScript. - but to get the slide navigation to work using triggers from the loaded flash file is my challenge.

One way - is to have a variable for each slide set in SL which would be updated using javascript calls. Then use the variable change trigger and jump to the slide required - however this is very tedious for courses with a lot of screens.

Any suggestions on how this can be automated?
