If you are using SL2 you could set the next button to disabled/hidden when the timeline starts on the slide, set your timeline for how long you want it then add a trigger to change the state of the next button to normal when timeline reaches xx or when timeline ends.
Depends also what elements you have on your slide and what other interactions the user will be doing - might take a little fiddling.
