I need to use the Classic player on a course, but the course has branching for multiple languages. Because I cannot find a way to translate the player buttons (Prev, Next) based on the language selected at the beginning of the course, I deleted the words under the player's Text Labels. I want to replace the words with my own symbols, though, but the arrows remain on the buttons. Is there any way to delete those arrows so I can add my own (that are larger and look more like DVR buttons)? Thank you!
There isn't a way to remove or change the icons from the buttons, although it may be something you'd like to share in the form of a feature request with our product development team.

You cannot change the symbols (e.g. < and >) on the player buttons, but you can adjust the language for the text lables as described here.

You can remove the navigation buttons by unchecking them from the Slide Properties:
If you have multiple slides, you can select them all in Story View (and uncheck the buttons as above).
