Hi Denise!

Do you mean that you are missing items from your slide? Are they hidden behind another slide item?

Or do you mean that you cannot see the base layer items when on a layer?

Thanks for your quick response.

As you can see on the attached screen shot, the base layer task bar/icons to the right of the story view and the slide
Is no longer visible.

Don't know what I did to make it disappear. Hope you can help.

Looks like you just have that panel collapsed. Click the arrow to expand.

I mis-spoke. Yes, I can expand Slide Properties on story view.

The base layer elements have disappeared from the task bar on the right  when I access individual slides.

Thanks for the clarification. I'd advise this:

To redock all panels at the same time, go to the View tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Redock All Windows.
