We filled in the description field when publishing the story file to a SCORM package. After uploading it to our LMS (we are using Taleo Learn), the description field is empty.
I'm trying to find out whether there is a metadata-tag 'description' missing in the XML-files but I can't find any information about this.
Anyone experiencing the same problem or having experience with the XML-files to change it in there manually?
I have tried that, but I can't find the description of the course in Scorm Cloud either. So I really think the description field is missing in the metadata of the course in the SCORM package.
I got an email from Articulate Support that indeed the description field is only visible when opening your course to Articulate Mobile Player App, so it is not visible in any other LMS.
But it is possible to fill in the description of a course after publishing it in Taleo Learn. When you add &command=editpage at the end of the URL of your course, then you open an edit page where you can fill in the description and even change the title of your course, if necessary.

I'd suggest you run your course through SCORM Cloud to see if the problem rests with your LMS

I have tried that, but I can't find the description of the course in Scorm Cloud either. So I really think the description field is missing in the metadata of the course in the SCORM package.
I now found the sentence "Currently, the course description only appears on information cards in the Articulate Mobile Player app." on the following page https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/publishing-a-course-for-lms
So maybe, it is a bug in Storyline 2? I will create a case at Articulate Support.
