Different scores depending on answer and then tallying

Apr 28, 2014

My apologies I'm new to this and have asked this question in response to another query regarding Likert scales and then thought it may not be seen as a question as it was a reply....... hope that makes sense!

Everyone will have done one of those magazine quizzes where depending on whether you answer A, B or C you get a score. Scores are then tallied and bang you get a description of what you're like depending on your score! I need to develop this kind of quiz - 5 questions each with four answers with each answer being given a different score. At the end of the 5 questions there will be a cumulative score.

I watched a great video recommended by Bill Harnage https://player.vimeo.com/video/149068722 and thought all my prayers were answered but I couldn't get my first slide to save - it kept asking which answer was correct - there is no one correct answer, each answer is individual and simply needs a score. The presenter doesn't seem to cover this on her presentation. I used a multiple choice question slide scored by choice. as per example in the video.  Any help would be gratefully received! Thanks guys I can't believe all the resources here.

Hi Tracy and welcome to Heroes!

In that screenr by Jeanette, the "always" answer is marked as correct, but you'll see if you looked at her slide she removed the feedback layers for the individual question and then controlled what they see based on the results slide. Rebecca also offers another tutorial here.
