Currently, the size and position of Zoom Regions aren't customizable. We have heard this would be a helpful addition for many folks. We've shared the feature request with our team.
In the meantime, I have seen a workaround where you apply a rectangle shape over the zoom region, then cut/paste that shape on to subsequent slides to use as a guide for inserting additional zoom regions. It's still tedious, I know, but it's more precise than eyeballing it. 👀
