Disabled Next button in review copy

Dec 31, 2020

My client has asked that the next button be disabled on any screen where there is an actionable item for the learner. I programmed those screens and it's working fine for me on the review copy. But, my client reports that she is able to click the next button when she tries it on the review copy. I have no idea why it's working for me but not her. Is it possible that the issue is with her computer?

Thanks. Lynn

Happy 2021, Lynn!

I'm happy to help uncover what's causing the Next button to appear for your client. First, a few initial questions:

P.S. If you could share the file, I'm happy to take a thorough look at the slide properties. You can use this private upload link.

Thanks Kathy, If I remember correctly I published a new version but to be honest I'm not sure. I have a call with the client this morning and I will ask about the browser she's using. Lynn Hooper815-341-7378 TRAINING SYSTEMS INCGreat Training for Great Employeeswww.trainingsys.comNew look for our website and BLOG on Performance ImprovementFollow us on TWITTER Like us on FACEBOOK Connect on LinkedIna customized performance improvement company -*helping you discover the outcomes you need*determining learning needs & strategizing most effective, least expensive, least intrusive methods to achieve outcomes*designing, developing group training - in person and live online, self study - e-learning and paper-based, individual coaching - video and live*facilitating group training & individual coaching - live online and in person*implementing other interventions to meet performance needs when training isn't the way*setting up and implementing ways to measure performance ROI

Well....she tried it again with me watching in zoom and the next button worked as it's programmed. She's using Firefox as a browser and I'm using MS Edge. Could the browsers be causing a problem? I'm going to play with it a little more to see if I can figure anything out. Thanks. Hi there, Lynn. I appreciate you keeping us in the loop!

Any chance she was running an older version of Firefox? Here are the supported ones for viewing Review 360 content:

Another theory is that her browser wasn't accessing the latest course content. Cleaning out the browser's cache typically does the trick:
