I have a graded question slide with a text box entry for the learner's response. I found that if you take the question again, my browser (Google Chrome) has remembered the answer for me. I can't control my learner's browser settings so I should design assuming the automatic fill is enabled.
Any possibility in Storyline to disabling / blocking / preventing this action from happening in a learner's browser?
The browser is showing the slide using the available info -- which includes the value for the variable used to track what was entered in the text box. To prevent a previous answer from showing up again, add a trigger to reset the variable to blank when the user revisits the slide.
Thanks Judy for your suggestion, and it makes sense.
I did set value of the text box to empty when my slide starts. I attached a screenshot and excuse my French, but you should be able to confirm it or not.
The end result is that my browser is still suggesting the values I had entered the first time.
It seems unlikely that Storyline could do anything to prevent a browser from suggesting values in this situation. So, yes, design with the realization that auto-fill may be enabled.

Merde! (Excuse my French.)

Thanks for taking the time to respond. :-)
