Thanks Pat for clarifying. Here are the things I'm seeing:
On Slide 1.4, I think the trigger seems to be confusing the behavior of the player. The trigger currently says to set Slide1Complete equal to true when Slide1Complete equals true, which creates kind of a circular reasoning, and doesn't accomplish what you have in mind.
Here's a better way to approach this: rather than create a separate variable and triggers for each slide, you can leverage the slide master instead, and that way you create a variable and triggers in just one place. For any slide that DOESN'T need the restricted navigation, you could create a separate slide master without the triggers. Check out this article for more info:

Hi Pat,
Can you say a little more about the behavior you're trying to create, and which slide(s) are giving you the trouble?
On slide 1.2, I see you've created some triggers which keep the learner on the slide until the timeline ends. This seems to be working for me.
Slide 1.4 and on isn't working with the disabling of the next button even though the settings are the same from 1.2 which is working.
Do I have to make a setting different for each slide on either the slide trigger or player trigger?
