You could insert a web object into your presentation. Store the PDF somewhere online and link to it with the web object. You can even have it open in a new window. Most browsers (if not all) will let you download a pdf if you are looking at it in a web browser.
thanks for your reply. My course will run on a client's LMS, I thought I could use RESOURCE option or something like that. Do you think it is possible?

Yes, that would work as well. It should open in a new browser window and you can download it from there.
