Are you able to share your .story file here, so we can take a look at what's happening? I wasn't able to replicate this issue, and it's not the expected behavior.
If you prefer sharing it privately, you can open a support case, and your file will be deleted once we're done troubleshooting.

Looking at your video, this is what I see too. So it is normal behaviour for objects to go out of view at the side of the screen? It just looks a bit odd!
If a drag item is moved outside of the slide, it will disappear and then jump back. If you'd like the drag items to disappear off the slide and not jump back, you'll want to change this setting highlighted in this screenshot.

Here's a basic drag and drop slide. If you drag any of the items way off to the left or right you will hopefully see what I mean.
