Drop shadow on text?
I feel like this feature *has* to be there but I'm somehow missing it?
In the toolbar look for the "S" - B, I, U, S.

ah, so I was missing it, thank you... looked in the Font dialog menu and didn't see it there, totally missed the "S".
So no options to adjust/customize the text shadow?? Bummer

Not that I know of!
If you're feeling creative, try typing the text in PowerPoint using WordArt. Then export as a graphic.- BrianAllen-LNRSCommunity Member
Definitely an option, usually stay away from it when possible because the text is no longer editable in Storyline.
Thanks again!

Why are shadows for TEXT not working? Using version 3.91.33139

Just tested this... super weird. The drop shadow is there when you apply it to text, but it's super faint and rather than dropping down just below the text, it seems to be casting a shadow to the right side of the text.
To test this on your end, blow the size of some text up on a blank slide, apply the drop shadow and then change the color of your text to white. You can see the faintest of a shadow on the right side of the text.
