Ecommerce Hosting Sites. That work with Articulate Storyline
Jul 21, 2019
I am looking for options for an eCommerce course hosting site. While I have found some options, most are not what I want. In particular I need:
- Hosting site that allows the sale of courses at a reasonable cost
- The ability to upload courses myself ( I have found some such as Thinkific which can handle HTML 5 web courses but you need to email customer support to upload course files. Turnaround is 3-4 days. Not acceptable).
- Good tech support when and if needed.
- Ease of entry (meaning I to not want to start at 100,000 students and pay for that, want to start small and scale as needed.
- There are other criteria but this will give you an idea of what I am looking for.
Anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks for your help. .... Steve

BTW I am not concerned that the host site uses SCORM. HTML5 web based is good.
Have you considered LearnDash with a WooCommerce integration?
Or if you don't want to maintain a Wordpress install, you could look something like TalentLMS, which is relatively cheap for an LMS and has eCommerce features.
Matthew , just starting my search. Will look at these two. Thanks for the help.
No worries Steve. Most LMSs offer eCommerce features.
Another one that I've used in the past is Litmos. I was able to integrate its eCommerce features with my client's website easily and was mostly happy with them (although there were a few things that weren't perfect, this was a few years ago so I'm sure they've improved since then).
I can also highly recommend Absorb. It is the best LMS in the universe. However, I suspect it'll be out of your price range for this project.
