Edit in Scrub mode

I'm relatively new to all of Storyline's abilities. Is it possible to edit layers in "scrub mode"? Example: I have a slide with 6 objects on a layer, 3 objects show for the first 10 seconds then transitions to the other 3 objects the last 10 seconds. When I go to edit in Slide View, the objects on the top are the visible ones. Is there a way if my marker is set at the 5 second point that only those objects in that time frame are visible and then as I "scrub" to the 11-20 sec point, only those objects show when editing? It would definitely make things easier to edit. Thanks in advance for any help!

That's not possible in Storyline.
Steve,
If you want to edit a layer, the selected layer is the current layer. Any other layer, including the base layer is visible if it is ticked. By default, the current layer and the base layer are visible.
If you are referring to objects on a layer, Michael is correct.
Yes I'm sorry. Objects on one layer. Thanks for the correction.
Thank you both for the input!
