Hi Mardi

are you working from your local drive and not from a network or external/usb drive (that can sometimes cause issues).

Try searching  your temp folders to see if you can find a backup of it

Open this location in Explorer

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Articulate\Storyline

Then try this: 

  1. Copy the .tmp file to your Desktop
  2. Change the .tmp extension to .story by renaming the file
  3. Open the file.
