The specifics of embedding a video from Sharepoint are a bit beyond my scope, but I know there are some other users in the ELH Community who have done so. I found a discussion that may be helpful:
1. your learners need to have access to view the share point site the video file is located
2. copy the sharepoint video file link (click ... next to the SharePoint file and select Copy Link then click the copy button to copy to your clipboard
3. In Storyline: [INSERT] Web Object, paste the SharePoint video link Select to display it in slide and tick load web object automatically
4. It will show as a grey box but if you publish it to Review then you will be able to see it working

Hi, no, that doesnt help sorry as that person ended up finding an alternative solution by putting the video on a website.
It still doesnt answer my question on how to embed the video if the video is located in SharePoint (latest version)
Hi, I FINALLY RESOLVED IT!
