When a learner has completed the module and clicks the finish button to end the module, the text 'the content has ended. You may close this window' appears in English. Has anyone created their modules in two or more languages and needed to change the language at the end of the module from English to French?
Can this be completed in Articulate or through the LMS vendor?
You can update the Player text labels to be in another language, but you'll have to do it for each course - there isn't a way to have multiple languages in one course on the player labels.
Yes I do use those features for all the other translations. When the module is finished and closes there is a blank white webpage that appears with the English text saying'the content has ended. You may close this window'. When I close that browser window I return to the LMS.
I can't find that saying anywhere in the Player text labels, would you know where that is coming from?
Have you set up any particular finish behavior (jump to URL or close window)? Can you share an image of this page? It sounds like it may be within the LMS. But if you could share a bit more about if you've used the "Exit course" trigger assigned to a custom button or if you included it in the player I can set up a sample file and test it on this end.
Sorry I haven't replied, didn't see your response. Yes absolutely. At the end of the module there is a button users click on to exit the course. This button has the trigger with the action to exit course when user click on the button to exit course.
Then the user exits the course and comes to this page in what still looks like the player.
Our courses open in a new window within the browser, so I thought maybe it has to do with the language of the browser. I've also asked our LMS vendor and they don't think it is on their end. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
No worries - you'll need to click "subscribe to replies" at the top to be updated via email about new replies to the thread. From that screen alone, I don't see the player elements still included, or that it's in a browser window. You may also want to try this at SCORM Cloud as it's an industry standard testing method for testing SCORM Content to help us fully determine if it's an LMS issue or an issue with your file.

You could also use the translation feature to update text across your course.
