Hello community, in my current course I have problems with exporing (indepenent of the eport variant review, HTML, LMS). When I start the export the process stips in the first step (preparing slides) There is no explanation why. It just stops...
With my previous version everything worked fine; then I did some corrections and integrated 3 further videos ... and now the export isn't working any more.
Make sure that you are working from your local system directory, not a shared network drive or Sharepoint page.
Close all other programs, and have only one instance of Storyline running.
Then try exporting again.
If you still have errors and it doesn't export, you might need to reinstall the software. (It's a fairly simple process but can take some time, esp if your organization requires HelpDesk assistance to add/remove programs.) And if the errors continue after you have reinstalled the program, I would submit a support ticket.

In addition to that, you can also try removing the new videos that were added one at a time, then publish again. This is to determine whether one of them is corrupt and causing the issue.
If the issue persists, we'd be happy to look at your file to help troubleshoot. Do you mind attaching your Storyline project to this discussion or privately in a support case? We'll delete it when we're done!
Thanks a lot for your advice! In the meantime I have found out that one exercise page was damaged (I don't know why). I couldn't start the preview on this page. So I deleted this page and made a new one ... and then the export run properly.
