Our LMS requires a Finish button in order for quiz scores to properly update. I am unable to determine how to do this in Storyline. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?
Do you simply need the users to click a button that will exit the course, instead of having them close the window? If so, you should be able to insert a button and add the "Exit Course" on click trigger.
If that's not what you're trying to do, can you share some additional information on how you'd like this to work?
I added a Finish button, but the course is still not scoring. In talking with our LMS vendor, they said that they ran it through could.scorm.com and weren't able to get score or status info. Are you able to help determine why the course isn't working properly?
I tested the course in SCORM Cloud and it looks like the score is passing along from the course. Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud on your end as well?
Now, if you're able to see the score pass on your side as well, you may want to read over the articles here and here.
Also, which LMS are you using? If you're able to see the score pass through on SCORM Cloud, maybe we can try to find some information on passing the score to that specific LMS.
I just realized I had sent you the .story file and not the .zip file that Storyline produced when I published. Maybe if you try this one you'll get similar results to mine?
The .ZIP I uploaded to SCORM Cloud was from that original LMS published output from the course you posted.
I tested the .ZIP you just posted and I got the same results. You're choosing the LMS option when you publish, correct? If you publish for Web, or any other option, that may cause a problem.
I'll attach the file I uploaded to SCORM Cloud, just in case you want to try it out.
Sorry for my delayed response. I am still having the above issue, despite using the LMS option when publishing and choosing the Passed/Failed option for scoring as our LMS has instructed us to. Our LMS rep is telling me that she doesn't have experience with Articulate products, so I feel pretty powerless to get this corrected.
I just ran the zip file you attached above through the scorm cloud and didn't get any results.
Please be sure to include a description of your issue. Please also include the URL for this thread in the form. Also, please share the case number with me. You're welcome to do so here, or in a private message. This way I can follow the progress of the case and update this thread.
Thanks very much, Carrie-Ann. Hopefully we can figure out what's happening and get this working for you.
Thanks very much :) I see that Sid's working on the case and that he sent out a message to you last night. If you haven't received it, please try checking your spam folder or filters. If you still don't see it, just let me know and I'll send it back out.
If his suggestions don't help with the problem, please let Sid know by responding to his email, so he can continue working with you.
I'll be sure to keep an eye on this case and follow up with you here on the forums. If you come across any additional information, or make any progress on your end with testing, please let me know.
I am having the same problem testing with SCORM Cloud. A test file is broken down into only two questions and a results slide. Despite a score of 100%, the quiz fails.
I have tried this both with and without an Exit course button: same result.

Yes, that should work. Thank you for your suggestion! I'll try it and let you know if it doesn't work.
Sure thing, Carrie-Ann! Let me know how it turns out

Hi Christine,
when I launched and went through the course in Scorm Cloud it didn't score it.
Very odd..
This is what I'm seeing:
When reviewing a course in Scorm Cloud, is it typical for the Score field not to populate?

Hey Carrie-Ann,
That is so strange. If I upload the course again using the ZIP I posted last time, I get the same results you do.
If I use the course that I uploaded previously, I get this:
This might be something to pass along to our support team for testing. Maybe they can give us a better idea of what's going on.
You'll be able to attach the .STORY file on the second page of the following form:

Any ideas?
Have discovered an answer on my own. The issue was "Report status to LMS as:"
I had it set to Completed/Incomplete. It needs to be one of the options that begin with Passed: Passed/Incomplete or Passed/Failed.
Great find, John! I'm glad you got it sorted out. Thanks for coming back to give us an update!
