When I upload an eLearning module to an LMS, I am able to tab through the module in Internet Explorer and Chrome but for some reason I cannot tab through the module in Firefox. So any feedback or solutions as to how to fix this issue would surely be appreciated.
Do you know if you have Flash disabled in Firefox? It's started to happen by default as you'll see here, but Firefox is not a browser we support for HTML5.
Another good way to check is by visiting a site such as www.supportdetails.com as that'll pull the information from your browser to see what elements are in use there.
I installed the Flash plugin for Firefox and made sure that the Flash player is not blocked which it isn't. However when I tested the module again in Firefox, I still can't tab through it.
Thanks for going through that - and that at least confirms it's not a Flash issue, but still odd that it works in Chrome/IE but not Firefox. Are you able to share a link to the URL here with us?
Yup. A link to the module or a copy of your .story file we could look at publishing ourselves. You can upload that using the "add attachment" button at the bottom.
The tab key worked for me in Firefox viewing your course as you've uploaded it. What happened is I saw the yellow bounding box indicating the accessibility or items available to screen readers. What did you expect to see or not see, just to confirm? I saw the same thing when testing it in Chrome. I did see you added some additional items outside the Storyline player frame, and if it's those things unfortunately I'll be unable to assist with those.
I expect to see the yellow box appear within the module, outlining the buttons and links in the module. The yellow box is displaying in Chrome and IE but when I am viewing it on Firefox, the yellow box is not displaying which is the issue that I am currently facing. Also the items outside of the module can be ignored and removed.
Also wanted to mention that I'm using Firefox v49 with Flash Player v23, and I was able to tab through, highlight and select elements in your course from the keyboard.
Ok I just tested the module again and now it is working for me in Firefox. I had to click on the module first and then press the tab key to see the yellow boxes. Thanks everyone for the help.

Well I am trying to check if I have Flash disabled on Firefox or not but I don't see the Flash Player listed in the list of plugins.

I visited the support details site on Firefox and the site says that I do not have Flash installed. So should I install Flash then?
Hi Katlyn,
I would look at installing the Flash plugin for Firefox, and then you'll want to follow the steps here to ensure it's not blocked.

Yeah like a link to the module?

I attached the story file to this reply. Also I added a link to the test page that I have been using to test the module.

Hi Katlyn!
I took a look at the file you shared above and had the same difficulty.
It was, however, due to my lack of having Flash enabled properly. It works as expected for me now and the same as Chrome.
As Ashley mentioned, I cannot assist with the elements you have outside of your course.
You mentioned checking your browser via supportdetails.com and everything looking great.
Did you check that your plugin is automatically enabled?
Also wanted to mention that I'm using Firefox v49 with Flash Player v23, and I was able to tab through, highlight and select elements in your course from the keyboard.
Yeah I checked that the flash plugin is enabled and it seems to be enabled.

I had to do that too, Katlyn! Well, glad that it's working for you! :)
