Font changes on Preview
Jan 27, 2018
Hi,
I have a project that uses a custom font provided by the client that's used on several slides and on player tabs. I'm using the most up to date version of Storyline 360. For the past month, the font has been appearing fine. Font looks correct on screen, but now for some reason when I preview the font changes to what appears to be Times New Roman. Any clue on what's going on? Is this the result of a recent update?
Thanks.

I have had this problem in the past. For me, I had to go into each installed font and in the properties check one of the boxes for advanced properties or security. I can't remember exactly which, but it was a lot of trial and error. The fonts worked in everything except published SL files before, and they worked fine in SL once I found the right setting. I'm on Windows 7. Not sure if this is your issue since they worked for you before, but you could try it.
Preview is still flash based, and may appear differently that the published version, if you are publishing to HTML.
Hi Stephen,
Really sorry you're running into trouble with your fonts. Could you share a screenshot of your slide in Edit mode and another shot of your slide in Preview mode? Also, what font are you using?
Thanks for your help. It looks like it was the result of a corrupted slide. Once removed, font appears properly on preview.
Glad to hear that you were able to get this to display correctly Bryce. I appreciate you popping in with an update.
