I have a published presentation that is uploaded into Brightspace D2L. I'm using a font "Avinir" on part of the presentation. We're currently loading the HTML5 version first, with an SWF backup. I noticed in Firefox that SWF is loading first and the font issue is gone. But in Chrome and Safari, the problem is there. How can I fix this issue? I've attached a photo to show you what the font is doing. Do you think only using the HTML5 version and removing SWF completely will fix the error?
I have the same issue with one of my projects. I use Storyline 360, the issue hes not showed up in the Review 360 version and I cannot test my output in another environment than my LMS. It is a custom LMS called Tactic!.
Font downloads must be enabled to see the correct fonts and characters in Internet Explorer. Try following the steps in that linked article, and let me know if you see an improvement!
Thanks for checking that and keeping us up-to-date, Catherine.
Are you hosting the content on a server or directly uploading to your LMS?
I know you mentioned that you could not test in another environment, but could you allow us on your behalf so that you can continue testing the output? This would help us identify if the issue lies within your LMS.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
I'm sending you the 2 files in a few seconds (Original Storyline 360 file and LMS Output ZIP file). I will be using your upload link.
Our tech team here has spotted a weird caracter problem in one of the LMS Output file (named (RH - Eval perf 2018-2019 V5\html5\data\js\paths.js), as pointed in the image attached below.
FYI The project is written in French and the content is confidential.

Hi Nick!
I'd like to get some more information that will help me narrow this down.

I have checked our IE browser and font download is already enabled by default… this doesn't seem to be the problem. What can I do next to fix it?
