FTP Publishing

We are two people in the team working at times with the same Project. BUT, when we use the internal/storyline FTP under Publishing, we get different FTP server data in Server, Username and Password. He gets one that is sometimes used by external FTP software, and I get mine.  The catalog however is the same.

Where does this FTP information come from?

More importantly, why isn't the FTP data / info connected to the relevant FTP info for the Project rather than our indiviudal (most commonly used or whatever the data is) FTP data?

Is there a setting to fix this?

BTW, Save username and password is checked.
