Apologies if this question has been asked/answered before, but couldn't find it in the forums...
We have some "structure" type slides that we have set to "Resume to saved state" as we don't want the narration to replay when users come back to them. However, we'd like to let users replay the narration if they wish. I see that the "replay" button on the Seek bar doesn't do this on these slides.
Is there a setting I can use to allow this, or can I create a button to allow replaying of narration on a "saved state" slide?
No apologies necessary! That's an excellent question.
The replay or rewind button in the Storyline player doesn't actually start the slide over from the beginning.
The behavior of the Rewind button is determined by the “When revisiting” property for each slide. Check out this article to read about how the button will work with each of those settings.
I would recommend adding a custom "Replay Audio" button on the slide itself. That way, the learner can click this button to replay the audio if they want to listen again.
